These are 11 X 14 images done the old school way, in a darkroom. The original idea of using mats to block sections of the paper and expose an entirely separate image came from some work that Denise Shrimp did for me back in 1995. I added the text to the photos, using transparency paper to finish out the experience.
More or less, I often found myself somewhere, thinking of some one while listening to music on the radio. This series blends all three in a sort of snap shot of my mind...
This is really hard to do with a chemical darkroom. Nowadays, it would have been less than a few minutes a picture. Then, it took a few hours to get it right...
